Under the fiduciary responsibility defined in the Agreement establishing the African Development Bank, the Bank is required to ensure that the proceeds of the projects and programs it finances are used exclusively for the activities for which they were granted. The Agreement also requires that particular attention be paid to the efficiency of procurement processes for projects financed by the Bank. This is why the Bank favors the most open competitive procedures possible for the acquisition of goods, works and services. Procurement procedures must offer equal opportunities to contractors, suppliers, and consultants from the Bank's member countries. The procurement process must also be transparent. The Bank has drawn up " Rules and Procedures for the Procurement of Goods and Works " and "Rules and Procedures for the Use of Consultants", which govern procurement under Bank-financed projects. To assist borrowing countries, the Bank has also developed, in collaboration with other multilateral development banks, standard bidding documents to be used for Bank-financed contracts. 1 2 3 4 ... next › last » Subscribe to the RSS Feed.

La Banque africaine de développement et le Sénégal ont une longue histoire de coopération, qui remonte à 1972.Au 31 décembre 2022, la Banque a approuvé un montant total de plus de 3,3 milliards d’unités de compte, soit l’équivalent de 4,403 milliards de dollars américains (2 719 milliards de francs CFA) pour le financement de 135 opérations. La répartition sectorielle des opérations fait ressortir la prédominance accordée aux infrastructures de transport qui représentent 25,25 % des engagements.
